Terms of use

In plain language: Miqnas is a recruitment technology platform for job seekers and employers. Keep your account secure, provide accurate information, use candidate data only for genuine recruitment, and review AI-assisted output before relying on it. Miqnas does not promise a job, a hire, or an error-free AI result. Paid products, subscriptions, privacy choices, and account deletion are governed by the terms below and the information shown when you use or buy them.

1. Who we are

Miqnas is operated by Miqnas for Technology and Artificial Intelligence Solutions W.L.L. (مقناص للحلول التقنية والذكاء الاصطناعي ذ.م.م), commercial registration number 244614, at C-Ring Road, Zone 26, Street 230, Building 194, First Floor, State of Qatar ("Miqnas", "we", "us", or "our"). 2. These Terms and your agreement

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern the Miqnas website, mobile applications, My Career, Resume Builder, Hiring, communications, paid products, and related services (together, the "Services"). By creating an account, clicking an acceptance control, accessing the Services, or buying a product, you agree to these Terms and any product terms clearly presented at the point of purchase.

Our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Account Deletion and Data Retention Policy form part of the rules governing the Services. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

3. Eligibility and authority

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. Using Miqnas does not itself establish that you are legally eligible to work in any country. If you use the Services for a company or another legal entity, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that entity, manage its workspace, access candidate information, and make purchases on its behalf.

4. Accounts and workspace access

• Provide accurate, current, and complete registration and profile information, and keep it updated.
• Keep passwords, verification codes, devices, and account recovery methods secure. Do not share individual credentials or allow unauthorized access.
• You are responsible for activity performed through your account except to the extent caused by Miqnas or circumstances for which the law makes Miqnas responsible.
• Tell us promptly at support@miqnas.ai if you suspect unauthorized use or a security incident.
• Company administrators control invitations, roles, and permitted access within their workspace. They must grant only the access reasonably needed for each user's role and remove access when it is no longer required.

5. What Miqnas does

Miqnas provides technology that helps job seekers create and manage professional information, discover opportunities, apply for vacancies, communicate with employers, and use career tools. It also helps employers publish vacancies, organize recruitment workflows, search permitted candidate information, compare candidates, and communicate with them.

Unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing, Miqnas is not an employer, recruitment agency, immigration adviser, or party to communications, interviews, offers, employment contracts, or other arrangements between users. Employers make their own recruitment decisions, and candidates decide whether to apply, respond, interview, or accept an offer. We do not guarantee applications, interviews, offers, hires, retention, responses, or any particular career or commercial result.

6. Candidate responsibilities

If you are a candidate or Resume Builder user, you are responsible for the accuracy and legality of your profile, CV, application, qualifications, experience, availability, references, links, and other information you provide. Do not claim qualifications, identity, experience, work authorization, or achievements that you do not have. Before submitting or publishing material, check it carefully and make sure you have permission to include information about other people.

You control whether your My Career profile is discoverable in Find Talent through the controls made available in the Services. A discoverable profile may expose a privacy-protective professional preview to eligible employers. Private contact details and private CV content are not automatically made public. Applying to a vacancy, accepting a connection, responding to an employer, or changing a visibility control may make additional information available as explained at that point.

7. Employer responsibilities

If you use Miqnas for recruitment, you must:

• post only genuine, current, lawful opportunities that you are authorized to fill, and describe the role, organization, location, requirements, compensation, and material conditions accurately;
• use candidate information only for legitimate recruitment and workforce planning connected to your organization, and only to the extent allowed by the candidate's choices, your agreement with Miqnas, and applicable law;
• protect candidate information, limit it to authorized personnel, and not sell, publish, scrape, build an unrelated database from, or use it for unsolicited marketing;
• conduct lawful, fair, and appropriately human-reviewed recruitment, including compliance with employment, immigration, privacy, equality, and anti-discrimination obligations that apply to you;
• not request unlawful payments, financial credentials, unnecessary sensitive data, or deceptive off-platform transactions from candidates; and
• independently verify identity, qualifications, references, work authorization, suitability, and any information material to a hiring decision.

8. Candidate search and communications

Search results, rankings, matches, recommendations, alerts, and profile previews are tools for discovery, not verification or endorsements. Availability, ranking, and visibility may change as information, preferences, product access, and search logic change.

Users may communicate through Miqnas or third-party channels such as email, telephone, WhatsApp, push notifications, or meeting services. Users are responsible for their communications and arrangements. Miqnas does not guarantee that a message will be delivered, read, answered, retained, or acted upon. Report suspected scams, impersonation, harassment, or unsafe conduct to us promptly.

9. AI-assisted features

Some Services use automated or artificial-intelligence-assisted tools, including CV parsing, drafting, translation, summaries, insights, job or candidate matching, search interpretation, and opportunity preparation. These tools support human work; they do not verify facts or make final employment decisions for you.

AI-assisted output can be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, biased, or unsuitable for your circumstances. You must review and, where appropriate, edit and verify output before publishing it, sending it, relying on it, or using it in a decision. Employers remain responsible for lawful criteria and meaningful human oversight. Candidates remain responsible for the truthfulness of submitted material. AI output is not legal, immigration, financial, medical, or professional advice.

10. Service and marketing communications

We may send communications needed to operate the Services, such as security notices, verification messages, application or billing updates, service changes, and account-deletion notices. Where required, promotional messages are sent only with the appropriate consent. You can change available communication preferences or use the unsubscribe method in a message. Opting out of marketing does not stop essential service communications.

11. Paid products, subscriptions, and refunds

• The product description, price, currency, duration, included usage, fair-use limits, taxes, and renewal status shown before purchase form part of your order.
• Web payments may be processed by an authorized payment provider. Mobile purchases may be processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. Their payment, cancellation, and refund terms may also apply.
• If a product is described as auto-renewing, it renews for the displayed period until cancelled through the available subscription-management method. Unless the purchase screen says otherwise, cancellation stops future renewal and access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Credits and one-time digital products may be treated as used when the protected output or service is successfully delivered. Expiry and usage rules are shown with the product.
• Refunds, reversals, and restoration of access are handled according to applicable law, the product description, the verified payment-provider event, and any mandatory app-store rules. Nothing in these Terms removes a refund, cancellation, repair, repeat-performance, or compensation right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
• Company order forms, proposals, or separately signed agreements may contain additional commercial terms. If they conflict with these Terms, the specifically agreed commercial term controls for that purchase.

12. Your content and permissions

You keep ownership of content you submit. You give Miqnas a worldwide, non-exclusive, limited licence to host, copy, process, adapt, translate, display, transmit, and otherwise use that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, and improve the Services, follow your settings and instructions, and meet legal obligations. This licence ends when the content is deleted from active systems, except for limited backup, security, dispute, and legally required retention described in our policies. We do not use private CV or professional-profile content to train a general model made available to third parties without separate consent or another clear lawful basis.

You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed for the content you submit and that our permitted use will not violate another person's rights. Feedback and suggestions may be used without restriction or payment, but we will not identify you publicly as their source without permission.

13. Miqnas intellectual property

The Services, software, designs, branding, databases, and Miqnas-provided content are owned by or licensed to Miqnas and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services for their intended purpose. No other right or licence is granted.

14. Acceptable use

You must not:

• break the law, violate another person's rights, impersonate anyone, misrepresent authority, or use Miqnas for fraud, harassment, exploitation, discrimination, or harm;
• post fake vacancies, deceptive offers, unlawful content, malware, spam, or content that infringes privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property, or other rights;
• scrape, harvest, export in bulk, resell, or create an external database from candidate, employer, vacancy, or platform data except through an expressly authorized feature or written agreement;
• probe, bypass, defeat, or interfere with security, access controls, usage limits, billing, ranking, or technical protections;
• reverse engineer or copy the Services except to the limited extent that applicable law does not permit that restriction;
• use bots or automation that impose unreasonable load, create artificial activity, manipulate results, or access the Services outside provided interfaces without written permission; or
• use content or output from the Services to train or evaluate an external machine-learning system without our written permission and all necessary rights from affected users.

Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Miqnas does not tolerate objectionable content, including harassment, threats, hate, sexual content, discrimination, fake or fraudulent vacancies and scams, or abusive behaviour. You can report a job, a company, a message or a person in the Services, and block people you're messaging. We review reports promptly. Where content or behaviour breaks these Terms, we remove the content and may suspend or remove the account responsible, usually within 24 hours of a report.

15. Third-party services

The Services may depend on or link to payment processors, app stores, communications providers, analytics tools, maps, file services, artificial-intelligence providers, or other third parties. Their own terms and privacy practices may apply. Miqnas is responsible for choosing and managing its processors as required by law, but is not responsible for an independent third-party service outside our control. A link does not mean endorsement.

16. Availability and changes to the Services

We work to provide reliable and secure Services, but interruptions, maintenance, errors, delays, or loss of a feature may occur. We may improve, limit, replace, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary. When a change materially reduces a paid product during its current paid term, we will provide an appropriate remedy where required by law or the applicable commercial agreement.

17. Suspension, termination, and account deletion

We may investigate, restrict, suspend, or terminate access, remove content, or preserve evidence when reasonably necessary to protect users or the Services; prevent fraud, security threats, unlawful conduct, or misuse; comply with law or a valid authority request; address non-payment; or enforce these Terms. Where appropriate, we will give notice and a reasonable opportunity to respond.

You may stop using the Services at any time and request account deletion through the available account controls. Deletion is scheduled and handled as described in our Account Deletion and Data Retention Policy. Ending an account does not automatically cancel a subscription managed by an app store or payment provider; use the displayed subscription-management method as well. Terms that by their nature should continue—including payment obligations already incurred, intellectual-property protections, dispute provisions, and lawful retention—survive termination.

18. Responsibility and limits

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights where doing so would be unlawful, including liability that applicable law does not permit a supplier to exclude. Miqnas is responsible for providing the Services with the care and obligations required by applicable law.

Subject to those mandatory rights, Miqnas is not responsible for user-provided information, independent user decisions or conduct, employment arrangements between users, or losses caused solely by unauthorized or unlawful use outside our reasonable control. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential business loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when the relevant agreement was made.

For a business user only, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, Miqnas's aggregate liability arising from a paid Service is limited to the fees that the business paid Miqnas for that Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. This business limitation does not apply to fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, breach of confidentiality or data-protection duties, infringement of third-party intellectual-property rights, or any liability that cannot legally be limited.

A business user will be responsible for reasonable losses and third-party claims caused by its unlawful use of candidate data, fake or unauthorized vacancies, breach of confidentiality, infringement of rights, or material breach of Sections 7 or 14, to the extent the loss was caused by that business user.

19. Complaints and disputes

Please contact support@miqnas.ai first so we can try to resolve a concern promptly. These Terms and any non-contractual obligations connected with them are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar. The competent courts of the State of Qatar have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer forum, regulator, complaint mechanism, or other right that applicable law makes available to you.

20. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Services, law, security, or business practices. We will publish the updated version and its effective date. If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we will provide reasonable notice and obtain consent where required. Changes do not retroactively alter completed purchases or accrued rights unless the law requires it or you expressly agree.

21. General terms

If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining parts continue in effect. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. You may not transfer your account or these Terms without our consent. We may transfer these Terms as part of a reorganization, merger, acquisition, or transfer of the Services, provided your rights are not materially reduced. These Terms, the incorporated policies, product information shown at purchase, and any applicable written commercial agreement are the entire agreement concerning the Services.

Arabic and English versions are intended to have the same meaning. If they differ, the English version prevails to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in this paragraph limits any right arising under a mandatory Arabic-language requirement.

Jobs found outside Miqnas

You confirm that you have the right to provide a job link, text, or screenshots. External pages may change or become unavailable. Saving an opportunity does not create an employer relationship, submit an application, or authorize Miqnas to contact anyone. Prepared materials are drafts that you must review before use. Miqnas does not guarantee an employer response or employment.
